Lori Najvar is a multidisciplinary artist known for exhibition and documentary productions with the nonprofit PolkaWorks.

A few documentaries to mention are: The Grove Texas, Czech Links—600 Pounds of Tradition, Two Paths—One Story, The Friendly Tavern, and Moravia, Texas, U.S.A.

Throughout her career and creative pursuits, visual storytelling has been a consistent thread. Deeply immersed in historical archives, cultural rituals, and the exploration of the natural world, Lori utilizes these elements as integral ingredients in her poetic narrative. Lori’s art presents canvases made from various materials and utilizing printmaking, imagery (still and motion pictures), a crazy amount of natural and man-made treasures, and all accented with myriad messages.

Viewers are invited to explore, reflect, and be entertained by the subject's messages about today's society and landscapes—hopefully sparking curiosity and connection. The sculptural creations result in layers of artistic references that transform into a worthy future on planet Earth and Lori's mind!
